So his fame spread throughout all Syria, and they brought to him all the sick, those who were afflicted with various diseases and pains, people possessed by demons or having epilepsy or afflicted with paralysis, and he cured them.


And the report of this spread through all of that district.


But they went away and spread the news about him through all of that district.


They were all amazed, and they kept on asking one another, “What is this? A new teaching—with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him.”


As soon as they left the synagogue, they entered the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.


But he went out and began to proclaim it freely and to spread the word, so that Jesus could no longer go into a town openly but stayed out in the country, and people came to him from every quarter.


and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written:


And news about him began to reach every place in the region.


This word about him spread throughout the whole of Judea and all the surrounding region.
