“Do not call conspiracy all that this people calls conspiracy, and do not fear what it fears or be in dread.


When it was evening, there came a rich man from Arimathea named Joseph, who also was himself a disciple of Jesus.


Joseph of Arimathea, a respected member of the council who was also himself waiting expectantly for the kingdom of God, went boldly to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.


Now there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon; this man was righteous and devout, looking forward to the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit rested on him.


At that moment she came and began to praise God and to speak about the child to all who were looking for the redemption of Jerusalem.


Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come in your kingdom.”


This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.


There was a certain man of Ramathaim, a Zuphite from the hill country of Ephraim, whose name was Elkanah son of Jeroham son of Elihu son of Tohu son of Zuph, an Ephraimite.
