For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil.


I tell you, on the day of judgment you will have to give an account for every careless word you utter,


When evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his manager, ‘Call the laborers and give them their pay, beginning with the last and then going to the first.’


But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life is being demanded of you. And the things you have prepared, whose will they be?’


And the Lord said, “Who, then, is the faithful and prudent manager whom his master will put in charge of his slaves, to give them their allowance of food at the proper time?


Then Jesus said to the disciples, “There was a rich man who had a manager, and charges were brought to him that this man was squandering his property.


Then the manager said to himself, ‘What will I do, now that my master is taking the position away from me? I am not strong enough to dig, and I am ashamed to beg.


So then, each one of us will be held accountable.


For it has been made clear to me by Chloe’s people that there are quarrels among you, my brothers and sisters.


Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found trustworthy.


Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive commendation from God.


For all of us must appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each may receive due recompense for actions done in the body, whether good or evil.


Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you through prophecy with the laying on of hands by the council of elders.


The sins of some people are conspicuous and precede them to judgment, while the sins of others follow them there.


Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.


But they will have to give an accounting to him who stands ready to judge the living and the dead.


And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Also another book was opened, the book of life. And the dead were judged according to their works, as recorded in the books.
