Your lips are like a crimson thread, and your mouth is lovely. Your cheeks are like halves of a pomegranate behind your veil.


the priest shall command that two living clean birds and cedarwood and crimson yarn and hyssop be brought for the one who is to be cleansed.


The priest shall take cedarwood, hyssop, and crimson material and throw them into the fire in which the heifer is burning.


then they shall spread over them a crimson cloth and cover it with a covering of fine leather and put its poles in place.

But Rahab the prostitute, with her family and all who belonged to her, Joshua spared. Her family has lived in Israel ever since. For she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.
