Your rowers have brought you into the high seas. The east wind has wrecked you in the heart of the seas.


Nevertheless, the men rowed hard to bring the ship back to land, but they could not, for the sea grew more and more stormy against them.


Now on that same day two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem,


While he was being brought forward, the demon dashed him to the ground in convulsions. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.


Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, some two miles away,


“I will not leave you orphaned; I am coming to you.


The sea became rough because a strong wind was blowing.


But he said to them, “It is I; do not be afraid.”


And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood flowed from the winepress, as high as a horse’s bridle, for a distance of about one thousand six hundred stadia.


The city has four equal sides, its length the same as its width, and he measured the city with his rod, twelve thousand stadia; its length and width and height are equal.
