After Jesus had left that place, he passed along the Sea of Galilee, and he went up the mountain, where he sat down.


As he walked by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea—for they were fishers.


Once while Jesus was standing beside the Lake of Gennesaret and the crowd was pressing in on him to hear the word of God,


After these things Jesus showed himself again to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberias, and he showed himself in this way.


But some boats from Tiberias came near the place where they had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks.


After this Jesus went about in Galilee. He did not wish to go about in Judea because the Jews were looking for an opportunity to kill him.


But they kept asking him, “Then how were your eyes opened?”


and the Arabah to the Sea of Chinneroth eastward, and in the direction of Beth-jeshimoth, to the sea of the Arabah, the Dead Sea, southward to the foot of the slopes of Pisgah;
