Who has ascended to heaven and come down? Who has gathered the wind in the hollow of the hand? Who has wrapped up the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is the person’s name? And what is the name of the person’s child? Surely you know!

If I have told you about earthly things and you do not believe, how can you believe if I tell you about heavenly things?


The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is of the earth belongs to the earth and speaks about earthly things. The one who comes from heaven is above all.


For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”


for I have come down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me.


They were saying, “Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How can he now say, ‘I have come down from heaven’?”


Not that anyone has seen the Father except the one who is from God; he has seen the Father.


I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever, and the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”


Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?

It is not in heaven, that you should say, ‘Who will go up to heaven for us and get it for us so that we may hear it and observe it?’
