The earth dries up and withers; the world languishes and withers; the heavens languish together with the earth.


All the host of heaven shall rot away, and the skies roll up like a scroll. All their host shall wither like a leaf withering on a vine or fruit withering on a fig tree.


They will roar over it on that day, like the roaring of the sea. And if one look to the land— only darkness and distress; and the light grows dark with its clouds.
