Yet the righteous hold to their way, and they who have clean hands grow stronger and stronger.


Be still before the Lord, and wait patiently for him; do not fret over those who prosper in their way, over those who carry out evil devices.


I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry.


Prize her highly, and she will exalt you; she will honor you if you embrace her.


For there is still a vision for the appointed time; it speaks of the end and does not lie. If it seems to tarry, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.


and you will be hated by all because of my name. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.


The young man said to him, “I have kept all these; what do I still lack?”


Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.


Jesus, looking at him, loved him and said, “You lack one thing; go, sell what you own, and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.”


When Jesus heard this, he said to him, “There is still one thing lacking. Sell all that you own and distribute the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.”


By your endurance you will gain your souls.


But as for that in the good soil, these are the ones who, when they hear the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart and bear fruit with endurance.


I in them and you in me, that they may become completely one, so that the world may know that you have sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.


Yet among the mature we do speak wisdom, though it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are being destroyed.


So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up.


Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, greets you. He is always striving in his prayers on your behalf, so that you may stand mature and fully assured in everything that God wills.


May the God of peace himself sanctify you entirely, and may your spirit and soul and body be kept sound and blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.


so that the person of God may be proficient, equipped for every good work.


make you complete in everything good so that you may do his will, as he works among us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever. Amen.


If any of you is lacking in wisdom, ask God, who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly, and it will be given you.


For all of us make many mistakes. Anyone who makes no mistakes in speaking is mature, able to keep the whole body in check with a bridle.


And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, support, strengthen, and establish you.


For anyone who lacks these things is blind, suffering from eye disease, forgetful of the cleansing of past sins.
