But you do see! Indeed, you note trouble and grief, that you may take it into your hands; the helpless commit themselves to you; you have been the helper of the orphan.


They will collapse and fall, but we shall rise and stand upright.


Yet he, being compassionate, forgave their iniquity and did not destroy them; often he restrained his anger and did not stir up all his wrath.


He said, “If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in his sight, and give heed to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will not bring upon you any of the diseases that I brought upon the Egyptians, for I am the Lord who heals you.”


You will say on that day: “I will give thanks to you, O Lord, for though you were angry with me, your anger turned away, and you comforted me.


Hear, everyone who thirsts; come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.


I have seen their ways, but I will heal them; I will lead them and repay them with comfort,


Although our iniquities testify against us, act, O Lord, for your name’s sake; our rebellions indeed are many, and we have sinned against you.


Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise.


Return, O faithless children, I will heal your faithlessness. “Here we come to you, for you are the Lord our God.


Is Ephraim my dear son? Is he the child in whom I delight? As often as I speak against him, I still remember him. Therefore I am deeply moved for him; I will surely have mercy on him, says the Lord.


I am going to bring it recovery and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them abundance of prosperity and security.

Then the nations that are left all around you shall know that I, the Lord, have rebuilt the ruined places and replanted that which was desolate; I, the Lord, have spoken, and I will do it.


My people are bent on turning away from me. To the Most High they call, but he does not raise them up at all.


And I will take you for my wife forever; I will take you for my wife in righteousness and in justice, in steadfast love and in mercy.
