A servant who deals wisely has the king’s favor, but his wrath falls on one who acts shamefully.


When the ways of people please the Lord, he causes even their enemies to be at peace with them.


A slave who deals wisely will rule over a child who acts shamefully and will share the inheritance as one of the family.


Do you see those who are skillful in their work? They will serve kings; they will not serve common people.


Anyone who tends a fig tree will eat its fruit, and anyone who takes care of a master will be honored.


Then you will find favor and high regard in the sight of God and of people.


Keep watch over yourselves and over all the flock, of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God that he obtained with the blood of his own Son.
