So when Joseph came to his brothers, they stripped him of his robe, the ornamented robe that he wore,


Then they took Joseph’s robe, slaughtered a goat, and dipped the robe in the blood.


They had the ornamented robe taken to their father, and they said, “This we have found; see now whether it is your son’s robe or not.”


(Now she was wearing an ornamented robe with sleeves, for this is how the virgin daughters of the king were clothed in earlier times.) So his servant put her out and bolted the door after her.


You took some of your garments and made for yourself colorful high places and on them prostituted yourself; nothing like this has ever been or ever shall be.


The Father loves the Son and has placed all things in his hands.


‘Are they not finding and dividing the spoil? A woman or two for every man; spoil of dyed stuffs for Sisera, spoil of dyed stuffs embroidered, two pieces of dyed work embroidered for my neck as spoil?’
