His appearance was like lightning and his clothing white as snow.

Since he was a prophet, he knew that God had sworn with an oath to him that he would put one of his descendants on his throne.

This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light and in him there is no darkness at all.


His head and his hair were white as white wool, white as snow; his eyes were like a flame of fire;


to eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of the mighty, the flesh of horses and their riders—flesh of all, both free and slave, both small and great.”


Then I saw thrones, and those seated on them were given authority to judge. I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony to Jesus and for the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its brand on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.


At once I was in the spirit, and there in heaven stood a throne, with one seated on the throne!
