So those who welcomed his message were baptized, and that day about three thousand persons were added.


came to me, and standing beside me, he said, ‘Brother Saul, regain your sight!’ In that very hour I regained my sight and saw him.


And now why do you delay? Get up, be baptized, and have your sins washed away, calling on his name.’


So Ananias went and entered the house. He laid his hands on Saul and said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on your way here, has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”


and after taking some food, he regained his strength. For several days he was with the disciples in Damascus,


Saul got up from the ground, and though his eyes were open, he could see nothing; so they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus.


But their minds were hardened. Indeed, to this very day, when they hear the reading of the old covenant, the same veil is still there; it is not unveiled since in Christ it is set aside.


For it is the God who said, “Light will shine out of darkness,” who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
