One afternoon at about three o’clock he had a vision in which he clearly saw an angel of God coming in and saying to him, “Cornelius.”


And immediately, because he had not given the glory to God, an angel of the Lord struck him down, and he was eaten by worms and died.


Suddenly there was an earthquake so violent that the foundations of the prison were shaken, and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were unfastened.


For last night there stood by me an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I worship,


Then an angel of the Lord said to Philip, “Get up and go toward the south to the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” (This is a wilderness road.)
