You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews.


But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”


“Brothers and sisters, you descendants of Abraham’s family and others who fear God, to us the message of this salvation has been sent.


But God raised him up, having released him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for him to be held in its power.


“This Jesus God raised up, and of that all of us are witnesses.


but declared first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem and throughout the countryside of Judea, and also to the gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God and do deeds consistent with repentance.


The God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, the God of our ancestors, has glorified his servant Jesus, whom you handed over and rejected in the presence of Pilate, though he had decided to release him.


and you killed the author of life, whom God raised from the dead. To this we are witnesses.


so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord and that he may send the Messiah appointed for you, that is, Jesus,


Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you from your own people a prophet like me. You must listen to whatever he tells you.


You are the descendants of the prophets and of the covenant that God gave to your ancestors, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your descendants all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’


For I am not ashamed of the gospel; it is God’s saving power for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.


and I know that when I come to you I will come in the fullness of the blessing of Christ.


For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the circumcised on behalf of the truth of God in order that he might confirm the promises given to the ancestors


Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,


Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy he has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead


Do not repay evil for evil or abuse for abuse, but, on the contrary, repay with a blessing. It is for this that you were called—that you might inherit a blessing.


Now to him who is able to keep you from falling and to make you stand without blemish in the presence of his glory with rejoicing,
