But Festus, wishing to do the Jews a favor, asked Paul, “Do you wish to go up to Jerusalem and be tried there before me on these charges?”


But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors, brought them out, and said,


Are not all angels spirits in the divine service, sent to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?


then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trial and to keep the unrighteous until the day of judgment, when they will be punished
