Evening and morning and at noon I utter my complaint and moan, and he will hear my voice.


The Lord said to Moses, “I will also do this thing that you have asked, for you have found favor in my sight, and I know you by name.”


For the sake of my servant Jacob and Israel my chosen, I call you by your name; I give you a title, though you do not know me.


And about three o’clock Jesus cried with a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”


Then there appeared to him an angel of the Lord, standing at the right side of the altar of incense.


And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying,


Now while Peter was greatly puzzled about what to make of the vision that he had seen, suddenly the men sent by Cornelius appeared. They were asking for Simon’s house and were standing by the gate.


While Peter was still thinking about the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Look, three men are searching for you.


Cornelius replied, “Four days ago at this very hour, at three o’clock, I was praying in my house when suddenly a man in dazzling clothes stood before me.


About noon the next day, as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray.


He told us how he had seen the angel standing in his house and saying, ‘Send to Joppa and bring Simon, who is called Peter;


For last night there stood by me an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I worship,


One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer, at three o’clock in the afternoon.


But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors, brought them out, and said,


Now there was a disciple in Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision, “Ananias.” He answered, “Here I am, Lord.”


He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”


Are not all angels spirits in the divine service, sent to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?


having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.
