They did not ask an accounting from those into whose hand they delivered the silver to pay out to the workers, for they dealt honestly.


that is, to the carpenters, to the builders, to the masons; and let them use it to buy timber and quarried stone to repair the house.


When they had finished, they brought the rest of the silver to the king and Jehoiada, and with it were made utensils for the house of the Lord, utensils for the service and for the burnt offerings, and ladles, and vessels of gold and silver. They offered burnt offerings in the house of the Lord regularly all the days of Jehoiada.

The faithful will abound with blessings, but one who is in a hurry to be rich will not go unpunished.


Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found trustworthy.


and what you have heard from me through many witnesses entrust to faithful people who will be able to teach others as well.


Beloved, you do faithfully whatever you do for the brothers and sisters, even though they are strangers to you;
