But the Lord had not said that he would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven, so he saved them by the hand of Jeroboam son of Joash.


In the twenty-seventh year of King Jeroboam of Israel, King Azariah son of Amaziah of Judah began to reign.


All of these were enrolled by genealogies in the days of King Jotham of Judah and in the days of King Jeroboam of Israel.
