Even youths will faint and be weary, and the young will fall exhausted,


but those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.


You said, “Woe is me! The Lord has added sorrow to my pain; I am weary with my groaning, and I find no rest.”


Then Jesus told them a parable about their need to pray always and not to lose heart.


What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you came to believe, as the Lord assigned to each.


Now concerning virgins, I have no command of the Lord, but I give my opinion as one who by the Lord’s mercy is trustworthy.


Since, then, we have such a hope, we act with complete frankness,


who has made us qualified to be ministers of a new covenant, not of letter but of spirit, for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.


So we do not lose heart. Even though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed day by day.


All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation;


So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up.


I pray, therefore, that you may not lose heart over my sufferings for you; they are your glory.


I can do all things through him who strengthens me.


Brothers and sisters, do not be weary in doing what is right.


even though I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and a man of violence. But I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief,


Consider him who endured such hostility against himself from sinners, so that you may not grow weary in your souls or lose heart.


Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.


I also know that you are enduring and bearing up for the sake of my name and that you have not grown weary.
