At that time Abimelech, with Phicol the commander of his army, said to Abraham, “God is with you in all that you do;


Know that I am with you and will keep you wherever you go and will bring you back to this land, for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”


The Lord was with Joseph, and he became a successful man; he was in the house of his Egyptian master.


His master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord caused all that he did to prosper in his hands.


“Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to his people Israel according to all that he promised; not one word has failed of all his good promise that he spoke through his servant Moses.


Know, then, that there shall fall to the earth nothing of the word of the Lord that the Lord spoke concerning the house of Ahab, for the Lord has done what he said through his servant Elijah.”


This was the promise of the Lord that he gave to Jehu, “Your sons shall sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation.” And so it happened.


‘Thus says the Lord: I will indeed bring disaster on this place and on its inhabitants—all the words of the book that the king of Judah has read.


When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.


who confirms the word of his servant and fulfills the prediction of his messengers; who says of Jerusalem, “It shall be inhabited,” and of the cities of Judah, “They shall be rebuilt, and I will raise up their ruins”;


so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose and succeed in the thing for which I sent it.


“Look, the virgin shall become pregnant and give birth to a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel,” which means, “God is with us.”


And he came to her and said, “Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you.”


The child grew and became strong in spirit, and he was in the wilderness until the day he appeared publicly to Israel.


The child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom, and the favor of God was upon him.


And Jesus increased in wisdom and in years and in divine and human favor.


Finally, brothers and sisters, farewell. Be restored; listen to my appeal; agree with one another; live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.


If a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord but the thing does not take place or prove true, it is a word that the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; do not be frightened by it.


The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you.


Not one of all the good promises that the Lord had made to the house of Israel had failed; all came to pass.


The woman bore a son and named him Samson. The boy grew, and the Lord blessed him.


Now when these signs meet you, do whatever you see fit to do, for God is with you.


See, it is the king who leads you now; I am old and gray, but my sons are with you. I have led you from my youth until this day.


One of the young men answered, “I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite who is skillful in playing, a man of valor, a warrior, prudent in speech, and a man of good presence, and the Lord is with him.”


Saul was afraid of David because the Lord was with him but had departed from Saul.


David had success in all his undertakings, for the Lord was with him.


David went out and was successful wherever Saul sent him; as a result, Saul set him over the army. And all the people, even the servants of Saul, approved.


And the Lord took note of Hannah; she conceived and bore three sons and two daughters. And the boy Samuel grew up in the presence of the Lord.


Now the boy Samuel continued to grow both in stature and in favor with the Lord and with the people.


But he said to him, “There is a man of God in this town; he is a man held in honor. Whatever he says always comes true. Let us go there now; perhaps he will tell us about the journey on which we have set out.”
