30 Therefore the Lord the God of Israel declares: I promised that your family and the family of your ancestor should go in and out before me forever, but now the Lord declares: Far be it from me, for those who honor me I will honor, and those who despise me shall be treated with contempt.

Whoever serves me must follow me, and where I am, there will my servant be also. Whoever serves me, the Father will honor.


so that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.


How can you believe when you accept glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the one who alone is God?


Jesus answered, “I do not have a demon, but I honor my Father, and you dishonor me.


Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive commendation from God.


so that the genuineness of your faith—being more precious than gold that, though perishable, is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
