45 Then the people said to Saul, “Shall Jonathan die, who has accomplished this great victory in Israel? Far from it! As the Lord lives, not one hair of his head shall fall to the ground, for he has worked with God today.” So the people ransomed Jonathan, and he did not die.

Then she said, “Please, may the king keep the Lord your God in mind, so that the avenger of blood may kill no more and my son not be destroyed.” He said, “As the Lord lives, not one hair of your son shall fall to the ground.”


So Solomon responded, “If he proves to be a worthy man, not one of his hairs shall fall to the ground, but if wickedness is found in him, he shall die.”


See, Amariah the chief priest is over you in all matters of the Lord; and Zebadiah son of Ishmael, the governor of the house of Judah, in all the king’s matters; and the Levites will serve you as officers. Deal courageously, and may the Lord be with the good!”


Therefore you gave them into the hands of their enemies, who made them suffer. Then in the time of their suffering they cried out to you, and you heard them from heaven, and according to your great mercies you gave them saviors who saved them from the hands of their enemies.


I myself have commanded my consecrated ones, have summoned my warriors, my proudly exulting ones, to execute my anger.


And even the hairs of your head are all counted.


But not a hair of your head will perish.


When they arrived, they called the church together and related all that God had done with them and how he had opened a door of faith for the gentiles.


The whole assembly kept silence and listened to Barnabas and Paul as they told of all the signs and wonders that God had done through them among the gentiles.


After greeting them, he related one by one the things that God had done among the gentiles through his ministry.


Therefore I urge you to take some food, for it will help you survive, for none of you will lose a hair from your heads.”


For I will not be so bold as to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me to win obedience from the gentiles, by word and deed,


For we are God’s coworkers, working together; you are God’s field, God’s building.


As we work together with him, we entreat you also not to accept the grace of God in vain.


they will wage war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful.”


And the armies of heaven, wearing fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses.


But Saul said, “No one shall be put to death this day, for today the Lord has brought deliverance to Israel.”


So the Lord gave Israel the victory that day. The battle passed beyond Beth-aven, and the troops with Saul numbered altogether about ten thousand men. The battle spread out over the hill country of Ephraim.


Then Saul withdrew from pursuing the Philistines, and the Philistines went to their own place.


for he took his life in his hand when he attacked the Philistine, and the Lord brought about a great victory for all Israel. You saw it and rejoiced; why then will you sin against an innocent person by killing David without cause?”
