1 Peter 1:25

But you, O Lord, are enthroned forever; your name endures to all generations.

They will perish, but you endure; they will all wear out like a garment. You change them like clothing, and they pass away,

The Lord exists forever; your word is firmly fixed in heaven.

A voice says, “Cry out!” And I said, “What shall I cry?” All flesh is grass; their constancy is like the flower of the field.

The grass withers; the flower fades,]] but the word of our God will stand forever.

For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one letter, not one stroke of a letter, will pass from the law until all is accomplished.

But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one stroke of a letter in the law to be dropped.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father’s only son, full of grace and truth.

For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.

So he came and proclaimed peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near,

Although I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given to me to bring to the gentiles the news of the boundless riches of Christ

in due time he revealed his word through the proclamation with which I have been entrusted by the command of God our Savior,

and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come

It was revealed to them that they were serving not themselves but you, in regard to the things that have now been announced to you through those who brought you good news by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, things into which angels long to look!

You have been born anew, not of perishable but of imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God.

Like newborn infants, long for the pure, spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow into salvation—

So we have the prophetic message more fully confirmed. You will do well to be attentive to this as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

We declare to you what was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the word of life—

what we have seen and heard we also declare to you so that you also may have fellowship with us, and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.

Then I saw another angel flying in midheaven, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation and tribe and language and people.
