10 therefore I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam. I will cut off from Jeroboam every male, both bond and free in Israel, and will consume the house of Jeroboam, just as one burns up dung until it is all gone.

This matter became sin to the house of Jeroboam, so as to cut it off and to destroy it from the face of the earth.

They shall destroy the walls of Tyre and break down its towers. I will scrape its soil from it and make it a bare rock.


Is a trumpet blown in a city, and the people are not afraid? Does disaster befall a city unless the Lord has done it?


I will bring such distress upon people that they shall walk like the blind; because they have sinned against the Lord, their blood shall be poured out like dust and their flesh like dung.


I will rebuke your offspring and spread dung on your faces, the dung of your offerings, and I will put you out of my presence.


Indeed, the Lord will vindicate his people, have compassion on his servants, when he sees that their power is gone, neither bond nor free remaining.


Therefore the Lord the God of Israel declares: I promised that your family and the family of your ancestor should go in and out before me forever, but now the Lord declares: Far be it from me, for those who honor me I will honor, and those who despise me shall be treated with contempt.


God do so to David and more also if by morning I leave so much as one male of all who belong to him.”


For as surely as the Lord the God of Israel lives, who has restrained me from hurting you, unless you had hurried and come to meet me, truly by morning there would not have been left to Nabal so much as one male.”
