You renew your witnesses against me and increase your vexation toward me; you bring fresh troops against me.


For you write bitter things against me and make me reap the iniquities of my youth.


And he has shriveled me up, which is a witness against me; my leanness has risen up against me, and it testifies to my face.


Because God has loosed my bowstring and humbled me, they have cast off restraint in my presence.


Then I will draw near to you for judgment; I will be swift to bear witness against the sorcerers, against the adulterers, against those who swear falsely, against those who oppress the hired workers in their wages, the widow, and the orphan, against those who thrust aside the alien and do not fear me, says the Lord of hosts.
