Sihon, king of the Amorites, and Og, king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan—
O mighty mountain, mountain of Bashan; O many-peaked mountain, mountain of Bashan!
The Lord said, “I will bring them back from Bashan; I will bring them back from the depths of the sea,
The land mourns and languishes; Lebanon is confounded and withers away; Sharon is like a desert, and Bashan and Carmel shake off their leaves.
From oaks of Bashan they made your oars; they made your deck of pines from the coasts of Cyprus, inlaid with ivory.
