Now there on the hillside a great herd of swine was feeding,


So he gave them permission. And the unclean spirits came out and entered the swine, and the herd, numbering about two thousand, stampeded down the steep bank into the sea and were drowned in the sea.


And we do this so that we may not be outwitted by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his designs.


Discipline yourselves; keep alert. Like a roaring lion your adversary the devil prowls around, looking for someone to devour.
