I had said in my alarm, “I am driven far from your sight.” But you heard my supplications when I cried out to you for help.


so I say, “Gone is my glory and all that I had hoped for from the Lord.”

“So I say to you, Ask, and it will be given to you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you.


Then Jesus told them a parable about their need to pray always and not to lose heart.


You ask and do not receive because you ask wrongly, in order to spend what you get on your pleasures.


Indeed, we call blessed those who showed endurance. You have heard of the endurance of Job, and you have seen the outcome that the Lord brought about, for the Lord is compassionate and merciful.
