And he said: The Lord roars from Zion and utters his voice from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds wither, and the top of Carmel dries up.


This is what the Lord God showed me: the Lord God was calling for judgment by fire, and it devoured the great deep and was eating up the land.


But as for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.


Then Jesus told them a parable about their need to pray always and not to lose heart.


And will not God grant justice to his chosen ones who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long in helping them?
