God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.”


God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.”


These are the families of Noah’s sons, according to their genealogies, in their nations, and from these the nations spread abroad on the earth after the flood.


So God blessed the seventh day and hallowed it, because on it God rested from all the work that he had done in creation.


And they blessed Rebekah and said to her, “May you, our sister, become thousands of myriads; may your offspring gain possession of the gates of their foes.”


God said to him, “I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall come from you, and kings shall spring from you.


Bring out with you every living thing that is with you of all flesh—birds and animals and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth—so that they may abound on the earth and be fruitful and multiply on the earth.”


These three were the sons of Noah, and from these the whole earth was peopled.


The fear and dread of you shall rest on every animal of the earth and on every bird of the air, on everything that creeps on the ground and on all the fish of the sea; into your hand they are delivered.


“And you, be fruitful and multiply, abound on the earth and have dominion over it.”


Praise the Lord! Happy are those who fear the Lord, who greatly delight in his commandments.


Look to Abraham your father and to Sarah, who bore you, for he was but one when I called him, but I blessed him and made him many.
