And she said unto them, Call me not Naomi, call me Mara: for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me.
And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, Yahweh appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am El Shaddai; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
And El Shaddai give you mercy before the man, that he may send away your other brother, and Benjamin. If I be bereaved of my children, I am bereaved.
Canst thou by searching find out Eloah? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?
Know now that Eloah hath overthrown me, and hath compassed me with his net.
Behold, happy is the man whom Eloah correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:
For the arrows of the Almighty are within me, the poison whereof drinketh up my spirit: the terrors of Eloah do set themselves in array against me.
He will not suffer me to take my breath, but filleth me with bitterness.
For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.
I am afflicted and ready to die from my youth up: while I suffer thy terrors I am distracted.
And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah.

Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith Yahweh El, which is, and which was, and which is to come, Shaddai.
And I saw no temple therein: for Yahweh El Shaddai and the Lamb are the temple of it.
