And Judah said, What shall we say unto my master? what shall we speak? or how shall we clear ourselves? Elohim hath found out the iniquity of thy servants: behold, we are my master's servants, both we, and he also with whom the cup is found.
That thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more because of thy shame, when I am pacified toward thee for all that thou hast done, saith the Sovereign Yahweh.
In that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am Yahweh.
But when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth, and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Sovereign Yahweh; He that heareth, let him hear; and he that forbeareth, let him forbear: for they are a rebellious house.
Say unto them, As I live, saith the Sovereign Yahweh, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before Elohim.
