Yahweh preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

A Song of degrees. They that trust in Yahweh shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

Happy is he that hath the El of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yahweh his Elohim:

Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.

Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,

O Yahweh my Elohim, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:

Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.

O Yahweh of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee. To the chief Musician.

And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Yahweh, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

Ye that love Yahweh, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.

But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in Elohim which raiseth the dead:

For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
