Word of Yahweh

The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in Yahweh shall be safe.

And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of Elohim is not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife's sake.

And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah.

And the men of the place asked him of his wife; and he said, She is my sister: for he feared to say, She is my wife; lest, said he, the men of the place should kill me for Rebekah; because she was fair to look upon.

And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongeth to Judah, and left his servant there.

And they were helped against them, and the Hagarites were delivered into their hand, and all that were with them: for they cried to Elohim in the battle, and he was intreated of them; because they put their trust in him.

It is better to trust in Yahweh than to put confidence in man.

Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually.

A Song of degrees. They that trust in Yahweh shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O Elohim, set me up on high.

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in Yahweh, happy is he.

The name of Yahweh is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in Yahweh shall be made fat.

Every word of Eloah is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that feareth Elohim shall come forth of them all.

And of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not?

Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the Elah of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any elah, except their own Elah.

Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his Elohim.

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in gehenna.

Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?

And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.

The same came to Yahshua by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from Yahweh: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except Elohim be with him.

These words spoke his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was the Messiah, he should be put out of the synagogue.

Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is Elohim's: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it.

Who by him do believe in Yahweh, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him honour; that your faith and hope might be in Yahweh.

And he said unto her, If they bind me fast with new ropes that never were occupied, then shall I be weak, and be as another man.

And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of Yahweh, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.

And he changed his behaviour before them, and feigned himself mad in their hands, and scrabbled on the doors of the gate, and let his spittle fall down upon his beard.

And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul: there is nothing better for me than that I should speedily escape into the land of the Philistines; and Saul shall despair of me, to seek me any more in any coast of Israel: so shall I escape out of his hand.

And David saved neither man nor woman alive, to bring tidings to Gath, saying, Lest they should tell on us, saying, So did David, and so will be his manner all the while he dwelleth in the country of the Philistines.
