Word of Yahweh

Go and tell my servant David, Thus saith Yahweh, Shalt thou build me an house for me to dwell in?

And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, It is the king of Israel. Therefore they compassed about him to fight: but Jehoshaphat cried out, and Yahweh helped him; and Elohim moved them to depart from him.

Blessed be Yahweh Elah of our fathers, which hath put such a thing as this in the king's heart, to beautify the house of Yahweh which is in Jerusalem:

O Yahweh, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king's cupbearer.

My days are past, my purposes are broken off, even the thoughts of my heart.

Yahweh, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:

Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.

And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.

The fear of Yahweh is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.

A man's heart deviseth his way: but Yahweh directeth his steps.

There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of Yahweh, that shall stand.

Man's goings are of Yahweh; how can a man then understand his own way?

The king's heart is in the hand of Yahweh, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

O Yahweh, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

But thanks be to Elohim, which put the same earnest care into the heart of Titus for you.

For it is Elohim which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
