And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.
How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the Sabbath.
And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;
And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.
Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto him, Teacher, thus saying thou reproachest us also.
And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.
