But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;

It is a snare to the man who devoureth that which is holy, and after vows to make enquiry.

For Elohim commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.

And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of Elohim of none effect by your tradition.

But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of Elohim to hearken unto you more than unto Elohim, judge ye.

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey Yahweh rather than men.
