And whoever does not bear his stake, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

And he that taketh not his stake, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

Yet hath he not root in himself, but endureth but for a season: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

Then Yahshua beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the stake, and follow me.

And they compel one Simon a Cyrenian, who passed by, coming out of the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to bear his stake.

For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?

And he bearing his stake went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:

Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of Elohim.

For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

Yea, and all that will live piously in the Messiah Yahshua shall suffer persecution.
