And I will draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin's army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thine hand.
And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.
And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will gain honor over Pharaoh, and all his host, his chariots, and his horsemen.
And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will gain honor over Pharaoh, and over all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am Yahweh. And they did so.
And Yahweh hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand.
For it was of Yahweh to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly, and that they might have no favour, but that he might destroy them, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
And Yahweh said unto Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire.
And Deborah said unto Barak, Up; for this is the day in which Yahweh hath delivered Sisera into thine hand: is not Yahweh gone out before thee? So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.
Behold, this day thine eyes have seen how that Yahweh had delivered thee to day into mine hand in the cave: and some bade me kill thee: but mine eye spared thee; and I said, I will not put forth mine hand against my master; for he is Yahweh's anointed.
