Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him.

When he is about to fill his belly, Elohim shall cast the fury of his wrath upon him, and shall rain it upon him while he is eating.

That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath.

For Elohim shall cast upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand.

By the blast of Eloah they perish, and by the breath of his nostrils are they consumed.

Which removeth the mountains, and they know not: which overturneth them in his anger.

Cast forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot out thine arrows, and destroy them.

Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.

Thy right hand, O Yahweh, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O Yahweh, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.

Now I know that Yahweh is greater than all elohim: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly he was above them.

And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and Yahweh alone shall be exalted in that day.

And I will drive thee from thy station, and from thy state shall he pull thee down.

Yahweh of hosts hath purposed it, to stain the pride of all honour, and to bring into contempt all the honourable of the earth.

And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.

For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust.

Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart.

We have heard the pride of Moab, he is exceeding proud his loftiness, and his arrogancy, and his pride, and the haughtiness of his heart.

Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Sovereign Yahweh; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a El, I sit in the seat of Elohim, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not El, though thou set thine heart as the heart of Elohim:

This is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the most High, which is come upon my master the king:

Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.

Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.

But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.

For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith Yahweh of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.

But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, Elohim resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
