That thou turnest thy spirit against El, and lettest such words go out of thy mouth?

He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened himself against him, and hath prospered?
Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against Yahweh.
Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?
Yet ye say, The way of Yahweh is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? Are not your ways unequal?
Your words have been stout against me, saith Yahweh. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?
If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
