Word of Yahweh

For through the anger of Yahweh it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, till he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

Until Yahweh removed Israel out of his sight, as he had said by all his servants the prophets. So was Israel carried away out of their own land to Assyria unto this day.

And he also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by Elohim: but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart from turning unto Yahweh Elohim of Israel.

That search may be made in the book of the records of thy fathers: so shalt thou find in the book of the records, and know that this city is a rebellious city, and hurtful unto kings and provinces, and that they have moved sedition within the same of old time: for which cause was this city destroyed.

For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged.

Woe to thee, O land, when thy king is a child, and thy princes eat in the morning

And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel master; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Sovereign, Yahweh of hosts.

For, behold, the Sovereign, Yahweh of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water,

I say, sayest thou, but they are but vain words I have counsel and strength for war: now on whom dost thou trust, that thou rebellest against me?

Then said Yahweh unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth.

And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim.
