Make ye him drunken: for he magnified himself against Yahweh: Moab also shall wallow in his vomit, and he also shall be in derision.

He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened himself against him, and hath prospered?

He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: Yahweh shall have them in derision.

But thou, O Yahweh, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.

Thou hast showed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.

For in the hand of Yahweh there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

And Pharaoh said, Who is Yahweh, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not Yahweh, neither will I let Israel go.

As yet exaltest thou thyself against my people, that thou wilt not let them go?

Shall the axe boast itself against him that heweth therewith? or shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? as if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself, as if it were no wood.

Yahweh hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit.

For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.

Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.

Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand of Yahweh the cup of his fury; thou hast drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling, and wrung them out.

And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.

They shall howl, saying, How is it broken down how hath Moab turned the back with shame so shall Moab be a derision and a dismaying to all them about him.

And Moab shall be destroyed from being a people, because he hath magnified himself against Yahweh.

Call together the archers against Babylon: all ye that bend the bow, camp against it round about; let none thereof escape: recompense her according to her work; according to all that she hath done, do unto her: for she hath been proud against Yahweh, against the Holy One of Israel.

In their heat I will make their feasts, and I will make them drunken, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith Yahweh.

And I will make drunk her princes, and her wise men, her captains, and her rulers, and her mighty men: and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the King, whose name is Yahweh of hosts.

Babylon hath been a golden cup in Yahweh's hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.

They have heard that I sigh: there is none to comfort me: all mine enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that thou hast done it: thou wilt bring the day that thou hast called, and they shall be like unto me.

He hath filled me with bitterness, he hath made me drunken with wormwood.

Rejoice and be glad, O daughter of Edom, that dwellest in the land of Uz; the cup also shall pass through unto thee: thou shalt be drunken, and shalt make thyself naked.

And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every el, and shall speak marvellous things against the El of elim, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

But hast lifted up thyself against the Sovereign of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy nobles, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the elah of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the Elah in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not honoured:

And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.

Thou also shalt be drunken: thou shalt be hid, thou also shalt seek strength because of the enemy.

Thou art filled with shame instead of honour: drink thou also, and let thy foreskin be uncovered: the cup of Yahweh's right hand shall be turned unto thee, and shameful spewing shall be on thy honour.

Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called Elohim, or that is worshipped; so that he sitteth in the temple of Elohim, showing himself that he is Yahweh.

And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before Elohim, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
