Word of Yahweh

Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste.

And the king turned his face about, and blessed all the congregation of Israel: and all the congregation of Israel stood;

Blessed be Yahweh, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.

And he burnt the house of Yahweh, and the king's house, and all the houses of Jerusalem, and every great man's house burnt he with fire.

And they burnt the house of Elohim, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof.

And he said, Blessed be Yahweh Elohim of Israel, who hath with his hands fulfilled that which he spake with his mouth to my father David, saying,

And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the honour of Yahweh upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised Yahweh, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

And the priests waited on their offices: the Levites also with instruments of musick of Yahweh, which David the king had made to praise Yahweh, because his mercy endureth for ever, when David praised by their ministry; and the priests sounded trumpets before them, and all Israel stood.

The people of thy holiness have possessed it but a little while: our adversaries have trodden down thy sanctuary.

And burned the house of Yahweh, and the king's house; and all the houses of Jerusalem, and all the houses of the great men, burned he with fire:

Jerusalem remembered in the days of her affliction and of her miseries all her pleasant things that she had in the days of old, when her people fell into the hand of the enemy, and none did help her: the adversaries saw her, and did mock at her sabbaths.

How hath Yahweh covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in his anger, and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and remembered not his footstool in the day of his anger

Yahweh hath cast off his altar, he hath abhorred his sanctuary, he hath given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a noise in the house of Yahweh, as in the day of a solemn feast.

Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Sovereign Yahweh; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left shall fall by the sword.

Also, thou son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their beauty, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their minds, their sons and their daughters,

Then the angel of Yahweh answered and said, O Yahweh of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years?

And Yahshua said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which Yahweh overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath:
