And there they left their images, and David and his men burned them.

The burden of the beasts of the south: into the land of trouble and anguish, from whence come the young and old lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent, they will carry their riches upon the shoulders of young asses, and their treasures upon the bunches of camels, to a people that shall not profit them.

Have the elohim of the nations delivered them which my fathers have destroyed, as Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which were in Telassar?

Therefore, behold, the days come, that I will do judgment upon the graven images of Babylon: and her whole land shall be confounded, and all her slain shall fall in the midst of her.

And shall also carry captives into Egypt their elohim, with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the north.

And Yahweh hath given a commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy elohim will I cut off the graven image and the molten image: I will make thy grave; for thou art vile.

And he said, Ye have taken away my elohim which I made, and the priest, and ye are gone away: and what have I more? and what is this that ye say unto me, What aileth thee?

And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of Yahweh. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again.
