Notwithstanding they would not hear, but hardened their necks, like to the neck of their fathers, that did not believe in Yahweh their Elohim.

Now be ye not stiffnecked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves unto Yahweh, and enter into his sanctuary, which he hath sanctified for ever: and serve Yahweh your Elohim, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you.

And he also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by Elohim: but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart from turning unto Yahweh Elohim of Israel.

But they and our fathers dealt proudly, and hardened their necks, and hearkened not to thy commandments,

He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened himself against him, and hath prospered?

But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted El in the desert.

And they tempted El in their heart by asking meat for their lust.

Yet they tempted and provoked the most high Elohim, and kept not his testimonies:

And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted Yahweh, saying, Is Yahweh among us, or not?

But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart, and hearkened not unto them; as Yahweh had said.

Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.

He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

Yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers.

But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his honour from him:

And Yahweh said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have showed among them?

For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

But when certain men were hardened, and believed not, but spoke evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.

He brought them out, after that he had showed wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the wilderness forty years.

Neither let us tempt the Messiah, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

Ye shall not tempt Yahweh your Elohim, as ye tempted him in Massah.

Wherefore then do ye harden your hearts, as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts? when he had wrought wonderfully among them, did they not let the people go, and they departed?
