Ezra 6:14

Word of Yahweh

And the elders of the Jews builded, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they builded, and finished it, according to the commandment of the Elah of Israel, and according to the commandment of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.

For we were bondmen; yet our Elah hath not forsaken us in our bondage, but hath extended mercy unto us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to give us a reviving, to set up the house of our Elah, and to repair the desolations thereof, and to give us a wall in Judah and in Jerusalem.

Therefore thus saith Yahweh; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith Yahweh of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.

The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that Yahweh of hosts hath sent me unto you.

Thus saith Yahweh of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation of the house of Yahweh of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.
