Word of Yahweh

Thou shalt not take the name of Yahweh thy Elohim in vain; for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am Yahweh, the Holy One in Israel.

And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy Elohim: I am Yahweh.

And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith Yahweh of hosts.

Moreover I call Elohim for a record upon my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet unto Corinth.

Thou shalt fear Yahweh thy Elohim; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name.

Thou shalt not take the name of Yahweh thy Elohim in vain: for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Thou shalt fear Yahweh thy Elohim, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.

But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.

Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by Yahweh, since I have showed you kindness, that ye will also show kindness unto my father's house, and give me a true token:

And the men said unto her, We will be blameless of this thine oath which thou hast made us swear.

This we will do to them; we will even let them live, lest wrath be upon us, because of the oath which we sware unto them.
